The Requirement:

A client wanted to refinance their entire property portfolio away from their existing lender who had a change in appetite.

The Interesting Stuff:

We were approached by the client to assist in refinancing their entire portfolio away from their current lender, because the lender had a change in appetite to funding the client, and therefore everything needed to be refinanced.

The facility we had to look at needed to accommodate lots of different types of commercial properties, some specialist. They included investment pubs, restaurants, residential and purpose built student accommodation. We also had to factor in an offshore ownership structure along with an expat beneficiary.

Our team of experts worked with the client and three different lenders to ensure we achieved the best outcome on every different type of property. At the same time we worked with the existing lender and client to manage the complex process.
