Specialist High Value and Complex Buy-To-Let Loan

Loan Value: £1.43 million

Location: Cumbria

The Requirement:

A client was looking to secure a high value Buy-To-Let loan however their situation made the request very complex.

The Interesting Stuff:

This was a Buy-To-Let request that involved one of our most complex scenarios to work with – luckily we thrive on anything complex and we love a challenge.

The property although situated in Cumbria, was owned by an offshore company. The client as an expat, and the property was being occupied by the owners family who were based in the UK.

Initially the client took out a floating rate finance option but as their rates began to rise, we stepped in and worked with them closely to advise they move to a 5 year fixed rate.

We used our experience to deliver the refinance request of this Buy-To-Let which took into account the outside income of the client, to qualify the loan. They had an existing property portfolio that was also referred to, and a lease was put in place between the family and the company for the benefit of the lender.
