Last month, we chose once again to attend MIPIM 2024, the premier real estate event held in Cannes, France.
It’s certainly one of the more glamorous event locations we have been to, with its blue sky, picturesque scenery and abundance of dining and entertainment options, but we promise they are not the only reasons we chose to go.
Why MIPIM 2024?
MIPIM, short for Le marché international des professionnels de l’immobilier (International Market of Real Estate Professionals, and yes we had to look that up!) is known to be the premier global property event. It attracts attendees from various sectors of the real estate industry, including developers, investors, lenders, architects and even government officials.
A Valuable Platform
For the NapeX Finance team, MIPIM provided us with a valuable platform to deepen our connections with industry stakeholders. Among them were familiar faces we’ve known for years, including former colleagues from previous roles.
It was important for us to make the most of the opportunity so with advance planning, we packed in as many meetings as possible and over the days we engaged in lots of informal conversations, discussions, exchanging thoughts and insights on strategies and much more. From solicitors to surveyors, accountants to architects, lenders to equity providers, we were able to meet with like-minded professionals, each offering unique perspectives and opportunities for collaboration.
Together, we spoke openly regarding the present market dynamics, anticipated developments, sought-after products, and ways to enhance our customer support. The discussions not only enriched our understanding but also reinforced our ethos of being ‘Powered by Knowledge’ and we’ve been able to further expand our network and potential avenues for growth.
Sharing The Insight
